It is the door through which the foreigner enters the local culture, and it has a great impact on directing its thought and developing its language. What we have devoted extensive time to in this book of ours is to show the impact of transmission and translation on the language and thought of the Arabs in the past, as well as the influence of the Arab language and thought on translation in the modern times, revealing how translation - past and present - plunged the Arabs into new worlds of knowledge in which they had not previously encountered, and stopped them on the production of The minds of other nations, opening the doors of scientific knowledge to them, and how it advanced them beyond the limits of their cognitive horizon, highlighting how translation activity worked to direct the intellectual practice of the Arabs, and change the direction of their thought in ancient and modern times.
