About the Authors: Archana Garodia Gupta, Shruti Garodia
Archana Garodia Gupta is an MBA from IIM-Ahmedabad, a polyglot and a polymath. One of Indias leading quizzers, in 2001, she was declared 'Champion of Champions by BBC Mastermind in India and in 2014 featured on the 'Triguni expert panel of Kaun Banega Crorepati for many episodes. She was the President of FLO, FICCI Ladies Organization, the premier businesswomen's chamber in India, during 201516. She has been working in the sphere of women's development for the last two decades. Archana runs a gems and jewellery business in Delhi, and writes on retail, women's issues and history for newspapers and magazines. History is her abiding passion.
Shruti Garodia was born and brought up in Delhi and graduated from the Ivy League Cornell University. Multifaceted and multi-talented, she enjoys trying new activities and hobbies from classical Indian singing and dancing to writing, drumming and cooking. Recent additions are scuba diving, skiing and hiking. She is an incurable reader and follower of world events. A keen and adventurous traveller, Shruti tries to visit a few new cities and countries every year. Shruti lives in the UK and works with BNP Paribas.
