Virtual Commercial City (VCC) Merchants
International service providers who are registered under the Virtual Commercial City (VCC) program www.vccdubai.ae can also create a store and list their services on DubaiStore.
The Virtual Commercial City project is a directive by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai as part of his ‘Fifty Year Charter’ initiative, which aims to improve life in Dubai and to help international companies to easily and seamlessly establish their businesses in Dubai without having to be residents in the city.
The businesses that are registered under the VCC program, selling services, can also create their store on DubaiStore to showcase their service portfolio and to receive inquiries from interested local or international customers. Any further businesses transaction has to be taken offline between the merchant and the interested buyer.
By creating their store on DubaiStore.com, the VCC merchants will have the following:
- Microsite within the DubaiStore platform
- Display of logo
- Display of business description
- Display of services
- Communication center. This allows the interested customers to send their inquiries or price quotation requests. At the moment, DubaiStore will not provide an online service booking engine or any service related transaction. Any matters related to transactions need to be taken offline between the merchant and the customer.
