With regard to the Arab and Muslim philosophers, we have adopted the method of Henry Corbin in writing their names in Latin. We also restricted, in writing the names of philosophers in English, the way the Encyclopedia Britannica in writing proper names. Finally, with regard to the modern philosophers, we have kept their names as written and pronounced in the original languages ​​in which they were written.
